"Creating Biophilic Buildings for a Regenerative Future (workshop in English)

DETAILS OF THE EVENT

As part of a series of workshops on the Living Building Challenge, the Living Future Institute Europe is offering workshops to learn about regenerative design and integrate it into architectural or urban design. Biophilic design is one of the key tools of regenerative design.
How can we create regenerative buildings and living environments using the biophilia approach?

This workshop is aimed at building practitioners such as architects, engineers, planners and material manufacturers interested in innovative and regenerative solutions. It is led by leaders in the Anglo-Saxon green building community through concrete examples while providing tools and techniques applicable to the local French context.

As part of our Living Building Challenge - workshop series, Living Future Institute Europe will deliver a series of workshops to enable participants to expand their regenerative design capabilities and integrate concepts into their practices such as Biophilic Design.

The event includes the following workshop: How to create truly biophilic and regenerative buildings and communities

This workshop is aimed at architects, engineers, developers and product manufacturers interested in innovative and transformative solutions, providing insights from leaders in the green building community through real-world examples while providing tools and techniques that can be applied in the local French context.

THE INTERNATIONAL LIVING FUTURE INSTITUTE

The International Living Future Institute (ILFI) is a non-profit organisation that works to build a green and regenerative world for all. Using principles of social and environmental justice, ILFI fights climate change by lobbying for a fossil fuel-free urban environment.

ILFI runs the Living Building Challenge, which is the world's most rigorous green building standard. ILFI also runs the Living Product Challenge, the Living Community Challenge and the Reveal, Declare and Just labels. These programmes develop tools for living in a biophilic world in the 21st century.

ILFI runs the Living Building Challenge, which is the world's most rigorous green building standard, not to mention several other programs: the Living Product Challenge, the Living Community Challenge, and the Reveal, Declare and Just labels. These programs develop a green framework for living in a 21st-century world.

LIVING BUILDING CHALLENGE

What if every act of design and construction transformed the world into a better place?

The Living Building Challenge is the world's most rigorous, proven performance standard for buildings. People around the world use this regenerative design framework to create spaces that, like a biological organism such as a flower, give more than they take.

You can create buildings that produce more energy than they consume, capture and treat all their water needs on site and are made with healthy materials. The Living Building Challenge framework helps create spaces that reconnect their occupants to nature.
