Louise is an engineer and a graduate of the Ecole Centrale de Nantes in Physics of the Urban Environment and Building and of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Nantes. She has over 2 years of professional experience in regenerative architecture. She worked for a year at McLennan Design in Seattle (WA) for Jason F. McLennan, former CEO of the International Living Future Institute (ILFI), founder of the Living Building Challenge (LBC). It was there that she gained a solid understanding and experience in design regenerative, biomimicry and biophilic designThis includes working on a living building Heron Hall'. Since her return to Europe, Louise has been involved in the development of this LBC tool on the continent and is committed to a city and space design that is more in touch with the natural and human environment and that respects future generations. With 4 other teammates, she won the 'Regeneration 2017' competition, 64 hours non stop to think about the design of a living buildingorganised by Macro Design Studio and lLFI. She has recently joined the Sustainability and Environmental Analysis team at Elementa Consulting in London as part of the Integral Group.
Louise will present and co-facilitate the workshop #S3 - LOTUS A3 - 14:30 - How to create truly biophilic and regenerative buildings and communities.
