CARLO BATTISTI

Carlo is a sustainable innovation consultant and project manager. He graduated in Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan. Today he has twenty years of experience in construction companies in various positions.
He also holds a Master's degree in Management and Organizational Development from the MIP of the Politecnico di Milano. He is also an IPMA® certified project manager. LEED®, Living Future and WELL accredited professional. GBC Home AP, GBC Historic Building AP. USGBC® and WELL Faculty™.
Since 2009, he has been working at IDM South Tyrol in Bolzano as a project manager in 'Ecosystem Construction'. Since 2017, he has also been working with EURAC Research as chairman and project leader of the COST 16114 research action RESTORE.
From 2010 to 2011 he worked as Business Unit Manager for sustainable products, contributing to the growth of the Energy and Environment Cluster of Trentino (Italy). From 2015 to 2016 he was co-founder of a start-up company focused on LEED consulting. In 2015 he co-founded the Living Building Challenge Collaborative: Italy.
Since 2018, he has been the European Executive Director (interim) of the International Living Future Institute.

Carlo will present and co-facilitate the workshop #S3 - LOTUS A3 - 14:30 - How to create truly biophilic and regenerative buildings and communities.
