PHILIPPE CLERGEAU

Philippe Clergeau is a professor at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle and a consultant in urban ecology. His research in ecology focuses on the installation of urban biodiversity and in particular on the role of landscape organisation and planning. He works on the implementation of green screens and on the ecological engineering of buildings and infrastructures.

Philippe Clergeau runs several interdisciplinary programmes and teaches in many leading schools, including schools of architecture. He is the author of several books on the management of nature in the city, including Clergeau, P. 2015. Manifeste pour la ville biodiversitaire, Rennes: Apogée ed.
