OUR MEDITERRANEAN SEA
What an opportunity to host this exhibition Our Mediterranean Sea - IRD/ Les Petits débrouillards! I (Alain Renaudin) discovered her at La Baleine during the UNOC in Nice. It's absolutely brilliantly educational and creative! I immediately wanted to share it with visitors to Biomim'expo in Marseille. I called the association to offer them a space, and they said yes! Enjoy it! For all ages! Not sure you're any better than the kids 😉
THE MATERIALS LIBRARY
Discover the new materials of tomorrow with "La Boite Bienfaite".
New materials, bio-inspiration, biosourcing, eco-design, biodegradability, recycled and recyclable, new labels and certifications... it's not always easy to find your way around this new world of alternative solutions.
Take advantage of the presence of " La Boite Bienfaite "and Simon MANDIN who is offering an exceptional material library of several hundred samples at Biomim'expo 2025! You'll be able to benefit from his invaluable explanations, because the essential is often hidden in the details! And you can touch and feel, because materials are also a sensory experience!
MYCOSMOS - THE ART OF MYCELIUM
The artist Côme Di Meglio will be holding a temporary exhibition of some of his work at Biomim'expo 2025 in Marseille. Come and discover the feats he achieves using Mycelium, enjoy an amazing sensory experience in contact with this material, and talk to Côme about his methods and applications.
THE BIOMIM'GALLERY
At Biomim'expo, you'll find a gallery of educational boards illustrating biomimicry through a series of bio-inspired innovations in a wide range of applications. An exhibition-gallery Biomim'INSIDE which you can also order to install on your site.
FluOREST
A "spectral" walk through the tropical forests of Amazonia and South-East Asia. Discover astonishing optical phenomena. With the help of Serge Berthier, who will be on hand for guided tours. Make the most of it!
Many living organisms, such as insects and plants, produce amazing optical phenomena such as bioluminescence, iridescence and fluorescence. You can see how many plant and animal species interact with light in different spectral ranges: ultraviolet, visible and infrared. You'll be immersed in their environment, in their structures on a nanometric scale, and reflect on the evolutionary interest of these marvellous phenomena.
THE CALANQUES MOBILE
With the Calanques Mobile set up on site during the event and the eco-guards at your service, you can find out all about the Parc national des Calanques, its richness but also its fragility, the importance of preserving it and the actions put in place to do so.
You'll also discover the incredible biodiversity it harbours!
THE POLARPOD BUS
With the support of MACIF, Biomim'expo will be delighted to welcome the POLAR POD expedition's mobile bus, so that you can find out everything you need to know about this extraordinary scientific adventure led by Jean-Louis Etienne. (https://www.polarpod.fr/fr/polar-pod).
Come and meet the team, who will explain everything to you and tell you why it's important to go 'circling' around Antarctica to better understand the link between biodiversity and climate change, and therefore take better action.
CHAMPION NATURE!
Biodiversity athletes are true champions!
Discover Biomim'expo in Marseille, the original and offbeat exhibition that found its way into the corridors of the Stade de France during the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games!
The idea? To compare the performances of human athletes and biodiversity athletes in a series of sporting disciplines... and find out who wins the medals? It's an exhibition that surprises and surprises, but above all amuses, raises awareness and commands respect for these other extraordinary (everyday) athletes.
Nature is our greatest champion! Teaming up with her is our best chance of winning the game of the future.
