Through biomimicry, the great principle of bio-inspiration, which invites us to take inspiration from the excellence of living things, is developing rapidly.
A new wave of companies, entrepreneurs and researchers is now at the forefront of a new path of innovation and transition model to meet the challenges of climate, biodiversity and the resilience of the human race.
Studies, reports, various initiatives and official statements are increasingly encouraging us to consider this approach as a path to excellence and to make it a strategic blueprint for France.
More and more in-house teams in large companies and public institutions are convinced, are carrying out projects, and are trying to change things.
However, there is still a long way to go, not only because the potential is so fabulous, but also because the cultural, philosophical and managerial revolution that bio-inspiration proposes and provokes is just as disruptive. While the approach is systematically seductive, it is not always easy to implement and to integrate at senior management level to give it all the financial, strategic and human resources it needs to develop its full potential.
So it was time for bio-inspiration to bring together its first circle of pioneers and ambassadors for a new bio-inspired future. strategic development seminar !
That's the idea behind these 2 days at the Château de la Roche Courbon in Charente-Maritime, which is offering us the chance to take part in their major Sport & Nature event in October.
... so are you ready to run for biomimicry?
A new NewCorp Conseil initiative, in collaboration with Ceebios, to get together and prepare for what's to come:
Objectives:
- Sharing experiences on the levers and obstacles of biomimicry. With the media, senior management and political bodies alike: what works, what appeals, the issues on which biomimicry is expected to play a part... but also, of course, what gets in the way, the priority expectations to be met, the reactions of contacts and stakeholders...
- The arguments and promises of the collective story to be built. Key words and messages;
- The positioning of bio-inspiration 'in relation to' other major related and complementary approaches: circular economy, eco-design, bio-sourcing, bio-assistance, etc., but also in its ability to be linked to climate and biodiversity issues: what response and what place for bio-inspiration?
- Prospects for value creation and business models? How and in what specific areas does bio-inspiration have the potential to change the rules and create a new form of economic and environmental performance?
On the programme:
- Team work sessions and workshops on structuring and priority projects (target issues, marketing and communication, political strategy, etc.)
- Objectives and strategic roadmap
- Position paper collectif
- Biomim Fiction about a bio-inspired world in 2050.
But it was also an opportunity for convivial exchanges to build real team cohesion within this group of expert scouts who know each other and bump into each other but who have never had the chance to spend a real moment together:
- Moments of conviviality and relaxation.
- Discussions and conferences with the public (btob and general public) who flock to the festivities of the Sport et Nature event organised each year by the Château. It's a way of offering the expertise of our group of experts and testing our key messages.
- Saturday night walk and races (for volunteers). As part of the castle's event programme.
