ROMAN GARROUSTE

Romain Garrouste is a researcher at the National Museum of Natural History.

His work focuses on insect evolution and ecology, using modern methods of taxonomy, including high-tech (3D) imaging, morphometrics, multivariate data analysis and exploration of biodiversity and paleodiversity.

He participates and organises field missions (biodiversity surveys and palaeontological explorations). He is also an inventor and co-inventor of new fossil deposits in France, Spain, New Caledonia, Madagascar, Svalbard, etc. including invasive species.

He has written, among other things, "Les insectes à la loupe" in 2012, as well as the DELACHAUX guide.
