A physical-chemical engineer with a degree from ESPCI-Paristech and a doctorate in neuroscience from UPMC, Kalina first promoted biomimicry for responsible innovation at the Paris R\u00e9gion Entreprises agency, where she developed tools to help eco-design through biomimicry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has been contributing to the development of the Ceebios association since 2013 and became its general manager in early 2017. She is also the \"biomimicry\" editorial advisor for the journal Techniques de l'Ing\u00e9nieur and follows the ISO standardisation work on biomimicry. She participated in the \"Nature-based solutions\" expert group at the European Commission.
