S\u00e9bastien Maire has been Senior Resilience Officer for the City of Paris since November 2015 and is now attached to the Secretariat General of the City of Paris as General Delegate for Ecological Transition and Resilience.<\/p>\n

An expert in local government management, he has been an elected official (community councillor and deputy mayor of Besan\u00e7on), Director of Economic Development and Employment in Pantin and Cabinet Director for the Mayor of Montreuil. He recently graduated with a Master's degree in Management of Innovation in Organisations and Public Policies. He promotes a holistic and systemic vision of local sustainable development, in order to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of public policies, in the short and long term. As the first Chief Resilience Officer of France in the global 100 Resilient Cities programme, he has developed and is currently implementing a comprehensive territorial resilience strategy for the French capital, with a wide range of stakeholders.<\/p>\n
