In a nod to the Olympics, but also to get away from an anthropocentric approach to performance, and to regain some humility in the face of the living...
Biomim'expo will host an exhibition within the exhibition:
Living things are stronger than we are! The exhibition "Olympic champion nature" will have fun putting humans and the rest of the living world on the starting line of 10 Olympic disciplines to reveal new records and other champions!
An original and unique idea to invite a delegation of living athletes to the Olympics, to amaze and draw attention to the exceptional performance of the biodiversity that surrounds us.
The first 7 editions of Biomim'expo have demonstrated the strength of the pedagogy and the reawakening of interest caused by the stories of bio-inspiration, by this idea of taking the living as a model. This offbeat campaign is in the same spirit, and will surprise, raise awareness, and command respect for these other (everyday) athletes who are out of the ordinary.
>> This operation will open up the Biomim'expo event to other audiences and media, and will shed a different light on the Olympics.
>> A scientific committee (researchers, institutions and associations) will constitute an editorial committee and will enrich the content to make it a campaign that is both entertaining and educational.
>> Partners and sponsors are invited to join in, and the operation may include posters, digital and audiovisual media, depending on the means and energy of the parties involved.
Staging
In a "stadium" setting, the NATURE OLYMPICS exhibition will invite visitors to move from one event to another by rediscovering the performances and history of Olympic champions, while discovering the performances of biodiversity champions in each discipline!
>> The exhibition would occupy a minimum of 200 m2 in one of the Biomim'expo pavilions
>> Each panel will present the human and natural records with beautiful images and explanatory and educational texts on the featured biodiversity
>> A track-like ground layout would mark out the visitor's route

Nature is above all a champion of collective
This is the true team spirit of the living world, the team is the biotope! No individual performance without a healthy ecosystem.
The NATURE CHAMPION OLYMPIC operation and Biomim'expo propose to associate 2 remarkable initiatives to give them a spotlight during the operation. Two regenerative projects, one terrestrial and one marine, which will be given space to express themselves during the Olympic Expo and two exhibition spaces offered during Biomim'expo. The Francis Hallé association aims to allow a primary forest to be reconstituted in Western Europe, while Corail Artefact, led by Jérémy Gobé, aims to combine art-science-industry-education to save the coral reefs.

3.8 billion years of resilience and continuous adaptation! Nature is our best model for the future, inspiring a new generation of innovations through biomimicry. Biomim'expo is the reference event that presents all the actors of this new approach and a wide range of concrete examples of innovation and discovery. Conferences, participative workshops, exhibitors' showrooms, sensory experiences, meetings with authors, demonstrations ... a unique meeting as a journey to rediscover the brilliant and inspiring nature.
