Research: form, function, evolution.
"I am interested in the shape of animals in relation to their way of life and environment in an evolutionary context. I seek to understand the morphological adaptations that, during evolution, have enabled vertebrates to use the properties of their environment to inhabit all the environments of the planet. The results have applications in robotics, imaging and agronomy.
"I'm interested in understanding how the form of animals is related to their life-style and this in an evolutionary context. I try to understand the morphological adaptations that have allowed vertebrates to inhabit a wide variety of environments that differ dramatically in their properties. The results of my research are applied in robotics, imaging and agronomy.
