Michel Veunac is a psychosociologist specialising in communication, social engineering, urban ecology, management and the sociology of organisations.

Knight of the Legion of Honour and Knight in the National Order of Merit. He entered politics in 1989 alongside Brice Lalonde at the creation of Génération Ecologie, joined François Bayrou at the UDF in 1995 and contributed to the creation of the Mouvement Démocrate (Modem) of which he is still a member.
