François Lasserre is an entomologist, author, lecturer and professor of nature conservation.
He is also involved in associations:
- Vice-President of the Office for Insects and their Environment (Opie)
- co-president of Graine IdF (environmental education network)
- IUCN France education expert
- member of Journalists-Writers for Nature and Ecology (JNE).
He is the author and co-author of numerous books on insects and nature, including:
